Became one of the chosen groups with the opportunity to present alongside Sonata Design and received compliments from both our professor and client for all the work we delivered. We also earned an A for this group assignment.

This strategic management project presents a comprehensive competitor analysis for Sonata Design as it expands into Vancouver’s premium window coverings and interior solutions market. Inspired by the growing demand for smart home technology, sustainable design, and personalized interiors, our team conducted a deep dive into key industry players—Fresh Design Blinds, Budget Blinds, and Blinds To Go.
The report examines competitors across critical dimensions including market presence, pricing strategies, service offerings, and brand perception. In addition, we analyzed current industry trends, external market conditions, and consumer behavior to develop actionable, forward-thinking recommendations tailored to Sonata Design’s growth ambitions.
Using benchmarking tools, visual mapping, and strategic frameworks, we crafted a roadmap that focuses on brand differentiation, digital innovation, sustainable product development, and high-impact partnerships. This project reflects our collaborative research, strategic insight, and practical business planning—aimed at helping Sonata Design lead Vancouver’s evolving interior design landscape.
