Reflection

1. Businesses should address an existing issue.
2. This was my first team assignment, which helped me learn how to interact with people from different countries and cultures, as well as how to communicate and lead a multicultural group of five members.

Kamp is a concept-driven business plan created to reimagine the camping and outdoor retail experience for a new generation of adventurers. Developed as part of our MBA coursework, this project reflects our passion for nature, our understanding of shifting consumer lifestyles, and our commitment to sustainability and innovation.

What inspired this project was a noticeable shift in post-pandemic behavior—where more people are seeking meaningful, offline experiences like camping, glamping, and hiking. At the same time, we noticed a gap in the market: most outdoor gear retailers focus solely on product, not the full customer experience. Kamp was born to bridge that gap.
We created Kamp as more than a store. It's a brand ecosystem. Our model includes:
- Curated product selections for all skill levels
- Immersive physical spaces designed like modern glamping sites
- AI-driven e-commerce for convenience
- Partnerships with travel agencies and schools for events, rentals, and guided experiences
- A strong focus on sustainability and community building
The entire strategy—from business model canvas to marketing mix—was developed collaboratively, using real market data and competitor analysis. Through segmentation and persona building, we tailored our offer to young professionals, families, students, and tourists.

Kamp isn’t just about selling gear. It’s about enabling adventure, sparking connection, and encouraging people to embrace the outdoors—on their terms.
